Seito: The vacation and AirBnB Houses Listing Platform in Africa

SeitoBnB™ (https://seito.africa) is a Kenyan real estate BnB platform for listing fully furnished vacation houses, holiday homes, beach houses, camping sites, lodges, AirBnBs, vacation rentals and many more. The platform is one of its kind in Africa. It comes with user friendly host and guest interfaces including state-of-the-art dashboard amongst other features. Seito BnB is an app-based marketplace for vacation rental accommodations. The platform enables travelers across the world to discover and book vacation rentals hosted by peers.

The guests or clients (i.e those looking to accommodation) can register online, list and browse through properties including homes, villas, treehouses, workspaces, and shared spaces, and book short and long-term rental accommodations. The hosts or property owners (i.e.e those listing their properties) can list their houses for accommodation on the platform. They can make online bookings and payments through their platforms. Their application is available for Android and iOS devices.

Our platform offers vacation houses bookings i.e. for Bed and Breakfast (BnB) and accomodation listings for short and long stays in myriad of cities and towns in Kenya e.g. Nairobi, Mombasa, Kisumu, Nakuru, Eldoret, Kisii, Nyeri, Nanyuki, Kericho, Kiambu, Voi among others. In Africa region, we cover Uganda (Kampala), Tanzania (Dar es Salaam), Somalia (Mogadishu), South Sudan (Juba), Ethiopia (Addis Ababa), Rwanda (Kigali), Malawi (Lilongwe), Egypt (Cairo), Botswana (Gaborone) and Djibouti (Djibouti) and many more!

Seito user interface

SeitoBnB platform leverages on Wireframes that maps out the user interface (UI) and user experience (UX). We have designed and developed a clean UI/UX responsive interface that works well on both desktop and mobile devices. For Frontend Development, we have employed technologies such HTML, CSS, JavaScript (React, Angular, or Vue.js).

For Backend Development, we have adopted technologies such as WordPress, Node.js, Ruby on Rails, Django etc. The platform uses MySQL and PostgreSQL database. The payment processing gateways integration encompass Stripe, PayPal, Mpesa among others. For maps API integrations, we have a variety of options including Google maps, OpenStreetMap and Mapbox.
